Hong Kong Court Convicts Cardinal Zen and 5 Others Over Failing to Register Protester Relief Fund as Society
Zen, barrister Margaret Ng, ex-lawmaker Cyd Ho, scholar Hui Po-keung, singer-activist Denise Ho, and Sze Ching-wee appeared in front of Principal Magistrate Ada Yip at West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts on Friday. The former five were trustees of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund, while Sze was the fund’s secretary.

Police said the arrestees were trustees of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund, which supported thousands of protesters during the 2019 unrest by providing legal assistance, funds for psychological counselling and medical treatment and emergency relief.
